Singing Southampton promotes singing by listing singing and other community music events (community choirs, gigs, workshops, camps etc) in the Southampton area and further afield. It does not claim to be comprehensive and welcomes new information. Please follow guidance here.
I set up Singing Southampton in February 2012 with the help of my friend Alex, after several years of sending a monthly Fun Sing Southampton mailing from my private email account. The monthly newsletter is now sent via MailChimp mail service, and we have this WordPress website (since April 2013 when Posterous ceased their website service) as well as a Facebook page.
The blog contains the emailed monthly newsletter which you can sign up to (by clicking the link under “Receive our newsletter” on the right panel), as well as details and reminders of individual events.
