Regular Singing Opportunities on Mondays

Delicious Sounds Choir

Monday evenings (in school term-time) at 7.30pm
St Mark’s church hall in Archers Road, Southampton  SO15 2LU.
Led by Fiona Funnell

Delicious Sounds is a choir based in Southampton, organised and directed by local resident Fiona Funnell. It is open to all – you don’t need to read music, you don’t have to pass an audition and you don’t have to sing solos (though you can if you like). We sing ‘a cappella’ – i.e. without piano or other accompaniment.  You do need to be passionate about performing and prepared to learn song parts between rehearsals and prior to concerts.

The choir was launched in October 2014 with a workshop in the city art gallery, and quickly grew to about 50 members. The choir meets weekly on Monday evenings, and the aim is to prepare for public performances at the end of each ‘term’.   Contact Fiona by email: or phone 023 80 220331
