The New Music Makers SATB Choir

Rehearsal Venue:                Hall at rear of Methodist Church, Hedge End
Rehearsal Day and Time:   Thursday 7.30 pm to 10 pm
Membership Fee:                £12 a month

is a popular and friendly choir started in the 1970s and has approximately 50 members.  You do not have to read music to join us as we use CDs, MP3s and an online player to help with learning pieces.  Our Musical Director and Assistant Musical Director give us all the professional guidance a choir would want and make rehearsals fun and stimulating.  Our central rehearsal hall is convenient for singers from all over the region.  We sing a wide genre of music to suit all tastes and have a main concert in summer and another at Christmas.  We also sing at various locations throughout the year.  Venues we have sung at are The Berry Theatre, Salisbury, Romsey and Winchester Cathedrals, Thornden Concert Hall, Hinton Ampner House, Botleigh Grange Hotel, The Ageas Bowl, to name but a few.  As a registered charity, we choose two charities a year to collect for.  We enjoy social evenings together and our Christmas dinner is always well attended.  So if you think you’d like to join a vibrant and outgoing choir, please do contact us via Lin on 023 8045 4285 or our website www.newmusicmakers.com.  We look forward to hearing from you.
