Conchord Singers

Led by Craig Lawton

Friday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 pm.

Friends’ Meeting House, Ordnance Road (off London Road), Southampton,

except for the Christmas, Easter and summer holiday breaks.

We are a small, friendly group of about 40 to 50 singers, giving at least two local concerts a year, one in February and one in May or June. Our repertoire is wide, including folk songs, classic popular songs and longer classical works. We sing in aid of charities promoting peace and humanitarian aid, often seeking out smaller local ones that do important work but may receive less attention. We also have a regular exchange with two French choirs in Normandy.

Subs are £80 per half yearly term, with lower concessionary rates. We are always looking for new members in all parts. There is no audition, but an ability to follow music notation and a sense of pitch are important. Do try us out at a few rehearsals before deciding to commit. Further details on our website

Winchester Fusion Choir

1.30pm-3pm (we need bass, baritone and tenor voices).

We are a fabulous and fun choir and sing for the sheer enjoyment of singing. We also perform and raise money for local charities and good causes, but if you would rather not perform that is fine with us.  There can be nothing more enjoyable and uplifting than to meet every week to sing great songs along to fabulous music with wonderful people – that’s what we do at the Winchester Fusion Choir, and everyone is welcome.Website
